This week we had circle time and talked about the idea that as we grow, we get better at things. Every student shared something they can do now that they couldn’t do when they were little. After circle time the students drew pictures in their book of things they can do now and something they want to be able to do in 2 years time.
Our second activity was about ‘put downs’. What they are and how they make us feel. We used puppets to act out different scenarios that included put downs. After every student had a turn acting out a situation we created a class Y chart which described what put downs look like, sound like and feel like. We made classroom posters naming our classroom a “NO PUT DOWN ZONE”.
